Images are everything. It’s what will entice someone to click on your website or your social media posts.
Back in the day, I remember the images for our blog posts were basic, medium-sized graphics. At that time there was more emphasis placed on the content we were writing and engaging with your audience.
Here’s an image I made for a blog post from my first blog Not Now Mom’s Busy.
Very plain, right? Even though the image relates to the title of the blog post, it really doesn’t grab your attention.
But now it’s about content and creating big, beautiful graphics to promote your content, products, courses.
Having stylish graphics is important to tell your story. Sure you can find royalty-free images around the web but you want to stand out from the crowd.
You shouldn’t have to use the same stock images everyone else is using. You deserve to have styled stock images that will give your brand a little pop and set you apart from the competition.
Why It’s Important To Have Eye-Catching Visuals
If you’re still not sure whether you should invest in styled stock images, for your creatives consider these stats…
Did you know our brain processes images 60,000 times faster than text? And that blog posts or articles with relevant graphics gets 94% more page views than those without one?
Another thing, pages and posts with graphics get 50% more shares.
But do you really want to use images that are already floating around the blogosphere? Of course you don’t . You are unique and your graphics should be too!

Photo Editing Tools To Create Gorgeous Graphics For Your Styled Stock Images
In order to create the right graphic you need to use an editing tool to crop the image just so and add some text in a cool looking font.
My go-to editing tool is Canva. They have tons of templates, gradients, frames and fonts to create a gorgeous graphic. You can also upgrade to get extra features like brand kit section to set your brand’s colors, special fonts and logos.
There are other editing tools like Pic Monkey and Snappa. I’ve tried them both but I prefer Canva.
